Chicago’s South Side now boasts a state of the art velodrome facility at 8615 S. Burley Drive near the astonishing Lakeside Development on the Old U.S. Steel Site. When I stumbled upon this treasure driving down Route 41 I definitely had to find out more. The current facility and the planned permanent facility offer so much promise.
